DEEP WHITE JOURNEY

Deep White Journey(深白遊記) is a 2D hand-drawn animation about 7 minutes, exploring love and  memories of a family against the death and obstacles, which is my Final Year Project in university. Featuring the main theme, travel and photographs.  Focusing on Shiro, a girl who likes photography but suffers from strange illness, and her Dad, Arsene on their journey towards Red Leaves Forest. That is a place keeping the soul and memories of Shiro's late mother, using an unopened photo album. The animation is aimed to express the power of memories, even against the uncertainty of fate and fragility of life. It calls on audiences to cherish the present moment with people around them.
